HOW WE DO IT
Our
Process
Refferals
We receive our referrals from local authorities, with most having an accepted homelessness duty. This is to ensure that the applicants we assist, all have a housing need. All our referrals undergo a thorough application process to ensure that they are able to sustain their tenancy.
Pre-Vetted Applicants
When a referral is received, we make contact with the applicant to ensure that they have an understanding of where they are going to be referred to. This includes understanding the household compositions needs as well as providing information on the property location and amenities.
Nomination
We follow a tailormade nomination process determined by the landlords requirements. This could include making an application via Rightmove, Zoopla, Moving Soon or directly on a housing association website. We provide the household information accurately, however we add our contact details for us to manage the process.
Moving In
Once applicants accept a property, we will liaise with the landlord to pay any rent in advance or deposit due. This is done by us to remove any delays in moving in and can be done pre or post tenancy depending on the landlord’s process.
Sustainable Tenancies
Our key mission is to ensure that the tenancy is sustainable. Most referrals will come with support in the form of a tenancy sustainment officer from the referring local authority. Applicants will get assistance with changing their utilities, applying for council tax and uploading their tenancy for benefits continuity.
Efficient Use Of Space
We ensure properties are utilized to their fullest, accommodating individuals in configurations that respect their privacy and living standards, setting us apart from conventional housing strategies.
Optimising Housing Stock
We ensure properties are utilised to their fullest, accommodating individuals in configurations that respect their privacy and living standards, setting us apart from conventional housing strategies. Our configurations are designed to meet the varied needs of different family sizes and compositions, significantly shortening the time families spend in temporary accommodation.
Financial Feasibility
Our innovative household compositions are tailored to maximise financial support for tenants, broadening the range of properties financially accessible to low-income families. This strategy also sidesteps the financial restrictions placed on larger households, enabling families to secure suitable housing without compromising on quality or location.
